2025-26 Queensland Kendo Renmei Summer Dan Grading (Iaido) 24 January
Queensland Kendo Renmei Summer Iaido Grading Examination – January 2026
A grading examination will be held on Sunday 24th January 2026. This is open to current financial members of the AKR and FIK Affiliate members.
To be eligible you must meet the time-in-grade and minimum qualifications for the grade you are attempting.
We are planning to hold grading examination as per the below:
- Iaido from 3 – 1 Kyu
- Iaido 1 – 3 Dan
The grading will take place on between 3pm and 4:30pm.
Important!
Closing date for receiving grading applications is 5pm, 16 January 2026.
To apply for grading examination follow these 2 steps:
- Submit your signed Grading Application Form (found here: akr_grading_applcation_form QKR – 2024_08_12.pdf) to Grading@qkr.asn.au by 5pm, 16 January 2026 to be eligible to be examined. No late submissions will be accepted.
- Pay your grading fees via Humanitix (i.e. purchase tickets).
Dan written examination questions will be posted here (on the QKR Website) shortly.
