Queensland was proud to host the 2025 UniNationals Kendo Competition 27-28th September 2025 at the Tallebudgerra Rescrational precinct on the Gold Coast! With 15 universities represented and 115 competitors, it was an very exciting event. The kendo from both women and men have been spirited and strong, with wins from various universities.
Qld’s QUT and UQ have performed exceptionally well, with all competitors getting through their pools! They also secured some medals & awards:
- Suguru Masuo (QUT) – 2nd Place! Men’s Dan Individual Competition.
- Laura Gray (QUT) – Fighting Spirit Award – Kyu Women.
- Juwon Moon (QUT) – Fighting Spirit Award – Dan Men.
